It worked with the Carrier ver 3.61 software, but stopped communicating on any version beyond 3.61. I had to downgrade from 4.05 to 3.61 for the thermostat to work correctly.
Oct 31, 2018 · Our ten year-old Infinity SYSTXCC Controller (for running a dual stage Heat Pump/Furnace system) has failed, and according to our service guy, it cannot be repaired. In 2008 when we bought it, the warranty was a measly 5 years with no option to extend it via registration. Carrier won't do anything for us, so we're SOL. . Warmblood sales.com

I can now get a live connection to the thermostat, and changes made on the app reflect on the thermostat almost immediately.
